A marketplace pickup turns into an arson hit for the mafia for single mom Lucy and biker Stixx in this dark romance with a body count.

Accidentally running explosives for the mafia wasn’t on teacher Lucy’s to do list. The pay will set up her new life with her daughter, the package includes a biker with benefits, and the marks are evil men no one will miss, so she decides to make a career change. When biker Stixx tells her “We’re done,” she says “We’ll see.”

Stixx is in the River Reapers MC with Lucy’s cousin, and if he finds out Stixx involved her in this, he’ll kill him. If anything happened to Lucy, Stixx could never forgive himself, so whatever spark he thinks he feels must die. Until she says, “I feel it, too.”

Lucy and Stixx are pretty good at turning abusers into ash, and in the cinders, they find all their missing pieces in each other. What started as destruction grows into a flame that won’t go out, even when the backdraft comes.
