This book—I’m marketing it as a novella but it’s actually a full-length novel, whoopsie—is so special to me. It takes place at the same time as A Fatal Prospect, and gives you a front-row seat to the aftermath. It can be read as a standalone, and I love how it interconnects with the series. It’s about love that never dies, and reclamation after surviving sexual assault. It’s about grief after losing your soulmate, and about being the one spark to get the light started. It’s about how families can be found and formed.
It’s also about a burnt out teacher who quits her job to blow up rapists with the super hot, 🐱-eating pyro biker—if you’re just here to be entertained. 😉
It’s my first non-HEA dark romance, and potentially my favorite book I’ve ever written. Honestly, I’m having a little bit of a hard time letting it go, although it helps knowing it’ll be yours soon!
