Everything Goldie touches turns to gold, so when the building that’s been in her family for generations is in trouble, her family calls on her to help save it. Moving back to her hometown and back in with her family comes with definite perks—like no more rent—and emotional baggage in the form of Goldie’s high school crush turned hottie David. How to Post Book Reviews to Apple Books

Welcome to my ARC team! Whether you’re on a tight book budget or want to be more involved with my releases, I’m so happy to have you.

One of the retailers I’d really love more reviews on is Apple Books.

Apple Books is a little tricky. You have to have some kind of Apple device to use the app. Somehow I’d forgotten this little hurdle, so color me surprised when I went to put together this post!

If you don’t have an Apple device, that’s totally okay. I really appreciate your Amazon, Nook, BookBub, and other reviews!

If you do have an iPhone, MacBook, or some other Apple device, here’s how to post your review.

Create your Apple Books account. Here are step by step instructions from the source: Apple!
Download the Apple Books app. You can find it in the App Store or on their website.
Search for “Elizabeth Barone” and/or the title of my book that you’d like to review.
Rate the book and/or write a short review telling other readers what you liked and didn’t like about the book.

By the way, if you’re an Apple user and on my ARC team, please let me know! I’ve got Apple Books codes for all of my books, meaning you won’t have to use BookFunnel or otherwise sideload my books to read and review them. Email me at ARCteam@elizabethbaronebooks.com

Looking for books? I’m looking for reviewers!

Whether you’re a reader on a budget or a book blogger (big or small), I’d love to have you on my review team!

What’s a review team? Whenever I release a new book, you’ll have first dibs on ARCs (advance reader copy), in exchange for you posting an honest review on sites like Amazon and Goodreads. Because I’m between releases at the moment, we’ll be working through my backlist.

This is good news if you’ve been dying to read my books but haven’t been able to!

In the past, I’ve limited my review team to bloggers only. While bloggers and influencers are still very much welcome, I’m opening my team to all readers.

There are still a few spots open. We’ve started with A Disturbing Prospect.

This is a great way to catch up on my backlist while you’re waiting for my next release. (Especially if you’re unable to get books outside of KU and giveaways!)

How to Read Elizabeth Barone Books for FREE

Times are tough, and books can be expensive—especially if you read a lot. I recently lowered my pricing, but I understand even indie prices can add up. Before you download books from free sites and unknowingly participate in piracy, please check out my tips for reading my books for free.

Speaking of piracy, while I don’t want to lecture, downloading pirated books is the surest way to ensure your favorite writers won’t be able to afford to write. There are a lot of expenses involved that you probably aren’t aware of, like cover designs, editing, and marketing. Most of us do this for the love of writing and don’t expect to get rich. That said, authors deserve to be compensated for our hard work. Would you still work at your job if people stole out of your paycheck?

Please support authors, whether they’re big names or underdogs.

Here’s how you can do so without spending a lot (or anything at all)!

Borrow Books from the Library

All of my books are available from the library in both paperback and ebook editions. When your library purchases a copy, I still receive a royalty. Here’s how you can borrow the River Reapers MC series from your local library!

For ebooks:

Make sure you have an up-to-date library card.
Download the Libby app here.
Request the books within the app.
Your library will purchase and then notify you when they’re available!

For paperbacks:

Make sure you have an up-to-date library card.
Call or email your library and request for them to add the paperbacks.
Provide your librarian with the books’ ISBNs.
